Yesterday I made ginger snap cookies and forgot the eggs. That about sums up my trials and tribulations throughout my crash course in becoming a baker of sweet baked goods. It’s been three months of mixing, folding, blending, measuring and tasting. I’ve spent this time right along side my mother who has thoroughly enjoyed watching me step WAY outside of my comfort zone in an effort to bring our company to life. She chuckles as she recounts the hours she’s spent over the past 35 years perfecting her recipes and proprietary flour blend without any help from me. Now I’m in the thick of it and she hasn’t baked a thing since May 1, 2016. Here we go.
