Beat whites, set aside. Beat yolks and sugar till thick, stir in nuts, chocolate, apples, matzo meal. Fold in whites. Use an ungreased 9″ spring form. Bake at 350 degrees, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let cool. Remove. After cooling remove from spring form put in freezer for 1 or 2 hours uncovered. Remove and wrap in plastic wrap. Refreeze until needed. Slice while still cold.
